Position
Warning
Only drive with the head restraint
set to the proper position.

The upper edge of the head restraint
should be at upper head level. If this
is not possible for extremely tall
people, set to highest position, and
set to lowest position for small people.
Height adjustment
Head restraints on front seats

Pull the head restraint upwards or
press the catch to release and push
the head restraint downwards.
Head restraints on rear seats

Pull the head restraint upwards or
press the catch to release and push
the head restraint downwards.
Removal
Press catch, pull the respective head
restraint upwards and remove.
Other information:
In the following cases, front
pedestrian protection may not detect
a pedestrian ahead or sensor
performance is limited:
vehicle speed is out of range from
5 km/h to 80 km/h in forward gear
driving on winding or hilly roads
driving in the dark
weather limits visibility, such as
fog, rain, or snow
the sensor in the windscreen or
the radar unit behind the front
bumper are blocked by sn..
The spare wheel can be classified as
a temporary spare wheel depending
on the size compared to the other
mounted wheels and country
regulations. In this case a permissible
maximum speed applies, even
though no label at the spare wheel
indicates this.
Only mount one temporary spare
wheel. Do not drive faster than
80 km/h. Take curves slowly. Do not
use for a long period of time.
